ABOUT
Marian Grudko was born in New York City and moved to the Hudson Valley in 1995. She has composed music on the bus from Brooklyn to Manhattan, on the Metro North trains, on a canoe trip through the Great Swamp, and occasionally at her piano. It was Beatrix Potter’s “The Tale of Jemima Puddle-duck” that first inspired her to illustrate stories with music. All of her compositions include music for dance, and she refers to them as “ballets.” She has perfected the art of creating musical stories. It is her greatest delight to share her work through the art of storytelling.
